Gift Card Holders

I am working on a GET WELL package for a co-workers wife who just discovered she has a brain tumor and wanted to make some gift card holders.  I used my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge and Cuttlebug embossing folders to make these.  I couldrn't real get good detail on the embossing.

Found this fun stamp at Cottage Corner in Davenport and used it with some pepperoni background paper.  *Sorry, I don't know how to get him turned right side up :-)

Birthday Cards - Iowa Hawkeyes!

I ordered this stamp set from one of my favorite scrapbooking stores in Des Moines (Outstamping Designs) and thought it would be great for "guy" cards.  Here are a few birthday cards I made to have on hand.

Front Door area - 20 x 20 Tile

I got this tile last spring when a local flooring company had a garage sale.  I bought 6 of them for $1 each and gave 3 to my mom.  Last night I was inspired to try and make something with it and this is what I came up with.   The fonts I used are Renaisaance ang Georgia. I got the big stand on sale at Hobby Lobby for $20. It was the first time I had ever seen the really large ones. 

Kitchen Light Block

I made this reversible light today for our kitchen. I am using purple lights now but I may change to white at a later time to make it easier to see.
